This sort of thing does not fall within the FBI's purview, and after Waco the Justice Department is not going to touch anything of this nature. Crimes of this kind are under State jurisdiction.

Though I have great sympathy for the marchers and the cause, I'm afraid they suffer from the same delusions as the WTBS. They think they occupy a much more prominent place on life's stage than they actually do. As several have pointed out, the bulk of the population are not concerned about a miniscule offshoot of a small, out-of-the-mainstream group.

The Next Big JW Issue?
by larc inwhat do you think will be the next big jw issue that should be brought out into the open?.
i think it could be the extreme physical abuse of women and children.
with all that bill bowen is doing, i don't think that he should be the one to take this on.

I think there may be some legs on the judicial disfellowshipping issue. Especially since so much play is being given to the idea that the Organization does not go "beyond the written word." A pretty good case can be made that the process is way beyond the written word. There's little to no scriptural support for some of the grounds that are used as well.

Rmember, They Walk Among Us
by metatron incrazy people walk among us.. they may drive cars, own houses, raise kids and hold jobs.. i have personally known psychotic people who appeared to be normal in every respect.
- except when you talked to them at length.
they had 25 kids (actually none),.

blondie my question was general in nature, not refering to this particular case. As far as I know, not one case of Ritual Satanic Abuse has ever been proved. Which makes this particular claim not very credible.
With reference to your other comment. If people want to make claims in the public arena then they don't get a pass on discussion of that claim.
If this individual wants to go to the Law with this matter then I'm all for it. If they don't want to do that, then that says something as well.

Has there been any real evidence of any Satanic Ritual Abuse anywhere? This is a serious question. It seems like every one of these things that comes up turns out not to be true in the end. There may be some verifiable cases, I just would like to know the details if that's the case. I've seen some pretty bad movies but that's about it.

Shouldn't Ted Jaracz Resign?
by HoChiMin inted jaracz should resign so as not stumble any other faithful witnesses.. at least:.
according to wt rules ted jaracz should be removed from all appointed duties if an accusation of "rape and molestation" is brought against him.. it should be demanded of him!.

Anyone like to make a small wager on a witness to this alleged event being produced? The claim to having a witness is no more credible than the claim that the event actually happened.

Your definition of "posh and luxurious" must be a whole lot different than mine. Exactly what did you object to?

Most of those halls have four or even five congregations meeting in them, and that can add up to something between 600 and 1,000 attenders in an urban area like Dallas. Some of those Halls are probably doubles so ther will be even more people meeting there. You're not going to stick that many people in a hovel. Parking lots are mandated by statute so they don't really have much choice on that.
Anymore the building committee works on just a handful of plans with a few interior options so most of most of the halls are virtually identical. The square foot costs are not that high.

little witch tell you what, why don't you prove that the money goes to headquarters? There are lots of copies of letters flying around why don't you produce one that directs that the money go to Brooklyn?
This is just nonsense. There are plenty of real things to talk about without making things up.
